    I have a 2024 Lexus RX350H. I installed the hitch in less than 45 minutes by myself. The welds and a appearance are high quality. I could not be happier with the hitch. Did not have to disconnect any part of the car. Put the hitch under the vehicle, blocked up one side with a 4" x 8" and then angled the hitch so the attachment plates could slip past the muffler hangers and then blocked the other side with a 4" x 8", then came in with a floor jack and raised it in place. Hardest part was getting leverage to torque the bolts.

    Installed by myself in slightly less than 30 minutes. Great quality. Fit my Lexus 350 hybrid 2024 without any problems.

    This install is nearly impossible without a lift (or ramps). There must be a way to design this thing such that you don't need to rotate it to get it into place and therefore don't need to drop the exhaust. Without being lifted, the exhaust only drops about 6 inches. I had to use a hydraulic jack to shove this thing up into place and scarred up my muffler.

    Box arrived slightly damaged. Some minor scratches. It says need to lower exhaust but it was not needed. Also doesn’t mention removing the factory tie down bracket and it is needed. Also says no trimming and slight trimming was needed, used stemmed tool and was pretty easy.

    I've installed a few of these over the years and this was not the most involved, but it was the most difficult and time-consuming. As others have experienced, the box arrived mangled with the side piece protruding through the box. It was visibly bent, but not significantly so, so I went ahead with the install. Turns out it's pretty hard to both hold up and bend a piece of steel at the same time while you're under your car. My advice to others would be to do both of these things before you even touch the receiver: 1. remove one of the muffler hangers where it attaches to the frame (doesn't matter which side) and 2. make sure the screws go in smoothly to each of the 4 holes. Even though my car is relatively new and the plastic plugs were still in the holes, there was paint in the threads that prevented the screws from going in. A wire brush did the trick. A second strong person would be very helpful, but I managed to do it with the aid of a jack. Also, this requires a torque wrench that goes up to 86 lbs. I pushed my 80 lb wrench past its limit and broke it. I could see this being quite easy with a receiver that is not bent. If yours arrives significantly bent, do yourself a favor and don't even try to install it. Send it back or pay someone else to deal with it. It's also worth noting that the center of the pin hole sits back about 5 1/4" from the rear bumper. After a tedious install, I was dismayed to find that our garbage carrier would not fit. It worked just fine with my 2010 RX and Curt hitch receiver, now I have to find an alternate solution.

    This hitch was very well designed to fit my new Lexus 2024 RX350 Hybrid. It would have taken me less time if I had another person helping me to hold it in place while positioning the hitch. I stacked up small pieces of 2X4 wood to elevate the hitch while I positioned the holes to start the screws.
