    The tailgate assist was easy to install but once installed the item seems to not completely work and catches as it goes down instead of a gradual lowering. Also the tailgate assist makes a grinding noise all the way down as it lowers.

    This is my 3rd tailgate assist(3 trucks), great instructions, the tailgate strap gets caught on this one but it doesn’t affect the operation.

    Arrived promptly, easy to put on with easily understandable instructions. Appears to be of good quality as time will tell. The only problem is the tailgate cable rubs between the side of the truck and the tailgate damper.
