The wording on the instructions were a little unclear as to the orientation of the seal. Does the "fat" side go towards the outside or the inside? I think I did it right.

The seal kit looks like to would work really well. The problem I had with it is that I could not figure out the best way to install it. I bought it specifically for my truck, 2019 Canyon, but where you are supposed to put it on the lower part of the box, it doesn't fit well. The box has a lip that is not flat across, making the seal not fit nicely. I wish it would have come with more instructions.

Works well, but couldn’t install it the way recommended. Had attach mine to the tailgate itself to get it to seal. The gap on my tailgate was to large for it to seal as suggested in instructions. I hope it will work this way.

I struggled at first, I installed it twice actually. The first time I used the rail system that came with the truck. That didn't worked and got frustrated. I called the manufacturer and that's when they told me to use the rails they sent with the cover. They also sent me the instructions to mount the rails on my truck. Overall it only took about an hour and looks good.
