Installed this Napier 86000 tent single-handedly on a 2016 (Gen 4) Prius! (Takes time and planning.) First of all, the height of the hatch opening had to be restricted. Accomplished this with adjustable straps hooked onto links installed behind alignment bumpers on the Prius hatchback door. For single person erection, change sequence as follows: 1. Lay tent flat immediately behind vehicle and insert shock-corded polls through loops. 2. Drape hatch opening of tent over hatchback door. This facilitates a one-person set up, and will help stabilize tent for step 3. 3. Insert poll ends into retainers at the four corners of tent to erect. (It may be helpful to stake 2 of 4 corners ONLY if you know exact proper location. 4. Then continue with normal instructions. With experience, you will learn the best height of hatch opening, and placement of stakes at the two corners closest to rear tires of vehicle during erection. I suspect time to erect (single person) will decrease to 15-20 minutes after half a dozen campsites. Two adjustable straps "Better than Bungee" cost less than ten bucks at H--- D----! Enjoy your camping trips! Photos below show modifications I made. You may discover an even better way.
