For years, snow plow users have been forced to use plows that fail to live up to their expectations. A new and much-improved design that you can rely on is available when you go with a FirstTrax Snow Plow.

The folks at FirstTrax watched the market and logged complaints customers had with other plow systems. Once noted, they designed their FirstTrax Snow Plow to be the opposite while providing customers with everything they could need or want in a plow. Three sizes of plow are available to fit your unique needs, and every plow is custom-tailored to mount to your specific truck or SUV. Tubular and sheet, hot-dipped galvanized steel combines in this industrial-grade system that connects directly to factory holes in your vehicle's frame. You control the plow's hydraulic lift with a wired remote-control, and you can plow to the right, left, or straight ahead thanks to manual angling.

Skid shoes, side markers, and snow deflector are included with every plow. Every FirstTrax Personal & Home Snow Plow arrives with an easy-to-assemble three-piece mounting kit that includes everything you need for a perfect installation. The powder-coated blade skin resists corrosion, while a floating knuckle reduces side stress, heavy-duty springs provide optimum performance, and a self-leveling plate keeps your blade level in all plowing positions.

You're not asking for problems, you just want to plow your driveway after a heavy snow. The simple-to-use, long-lasting system you've always wanted is finally available with the FirstTrax Snow Plow. Backed by a 1-Year Warranty.

The instructions that came with the plow were limited. All I got was the ABF shipping papers, the cross bar mounting kit attaches to the truck, and a thank you/paper, that says call or email. I'm a hands on guy, I work with my hands, it's a good thing I know how to use my head. I had to use it a little here with the paper work. The plow and the truck are ready for the snow. Thanks Jessie.

The unit appears to be well made, with a logical design basis as advertised. I cannot comment on its performance yet since we don't get a lot of snow in June. Firsttrax is the only company that I found that makes a direct bolt-on mount for Jeep Grand Wagoneers, so that was a major factor in my purchase decision. They also make inexpensive mounts for my other vehicles, so I can easily connect the plow to whichever vehicle I choose just by having the additional mount installed. Due to availability, I was forced to order the plow from AAG and the hydraulic angling kit from another source. The folks at Firsttrax noticed this, and installed the angling system on the plow prior to shipping. They saved me a lot of labor, and that says a lot about them in my opinion. This review forces me to select a performance rating although I can't make it snow, so I will assume that it performs as good as it looks.

So far so good - everything I received was as advertised. Hooked it up and tested it (without snow) and it seems to be great.

After installation everything seems to be in good working order. I have not used the plow as its thankfully not winter yet so I can't evaluate how it works in use. At initial shipping from the factory it was on a large semi that could not get down my driveway. I would have expected local delivery to be on a smaller truck but this is probably an issue for the shipping company and not the manufacturer. Also I did not receive the remote control and power cables and had to get back with Auto Accessories Garage who contacted the manufacturer. I had controls within a week, not a big deal unless I had snow to plow.

A very nice product. Appears to be top quality. I called the manufacturer on a couple items and they were VERY helpful. Assembly went pretty easy. The brackets I got went over the frame. Make sure you look closely at the picture to see which bracket pieces are for the driver's and passenger side. Hydraulics work great. There is a clip that hold the plow to the truck. It did not come off when tried to remove it. The manufacturer said push down on the hyrdraulics and that will re-position it. I do not know if that works. I cut it and modified it to work for me. I believe my modification will be a better and easier item to use. The plow was very high quality. I look forward to the first snow. The videos on youtube are weak. I wish they would show more on the assembly and actual working. I liked this plow because it connects to the truck at two points and the hydraulics are a plus. I manually move for the angle plowing. I tried it and it move VERY easy. The pictures do not show the top rubber piece. I added that. I am not sure if it is optional, but figured if I have it, add it. Moving the plow around is very easy with the wheel system. The wheels move up with a pull of a level. Great design.

The plow works great but the controls wire does not hold securely in the plug to the top of the plow. Also the down button on the control box sticks and does not allow the plow to stay down.

Plow came New Years Eve.The next day went to put it together but no wires for the lift. 1 foot of snow sits in my driveway because I can't do it by hand. Now we have rain over night with a deep freeze on Monday.I should have about 6in of ice by then. Not happy.

Bracket bolts too short, had to purchase new longer bolts. Install took several hours over a 2 day period! Side markers not included, have been told on backorder, no update as to when they will arrive, apparently up to me to follow up. Now that have resolved frustrating install issues, plow works great! Looks to be quality built and should do the job for many MI. U.P. winters.
