About Curt

If you need something to haul your cargo, CURT is going to be your first and last stop for anything having to do with towing. CURT has been the face of the towing industry for years, and their hitches and hitch accessories have been a favorite among professionals and towing novices alike. Based out of Wisconsin, the operation at Curt takes on a number of different roles, from manufacturer to product importer. Still, what CURT is best known for are the products the company generates in-house.

All of CURT's towing and hitch products are made robotically in their state of the art facilities - and each CURT Hitch utilizes innovative design techniques to produce components that not only look great but exceed their customer's high quality standards. However, it isn't just the design that attracts consumers to CURT; the quality materials used in each CURT component have also played a huge part to the company's success. In fact, CURT is so confident in the quality of their Receiver Hitches that it backs them with a Lifetime Warranty.

In addition to hitches, CURT makes a huge line of towing and hitch accessories - and Auto Accessories Garage carries just about all of them. Some of the most popular accessories include the Curt Q5 Fifth Wheel Hitch, and Adjustable Ball Mount, as well as cargo accessories like the Curt Cargo Carrier and the Curt Standard Series Bike Rack. This is just a short list of all the well-designed, built-to-last towing accessories Curt has to offer.

When it's time to tow, trust Curt - "The First Name In Towing Products."

Easy install. The instructions were simple. Although on some illustrations, the picture was slightly confusing. It almost indicates there are (4) bolts on ea. side to install, but there are only (3). Two body frame and (1) nut and (1) bolt provided.

Install Time: 30 - 60 minutes

Watched install video twice so I wouldn’t miss any steps! The video was right on the money. Same with installing the hitch.

Curt quality is always great. This one fit perfectly on my 2007 Ridgeline, but was a bit of a chore to install, simply because of the weight. Here's a tip: thread on the rearward bolts (2x) before the forward bolts (4x).

Install Time: 1 - 2 hours

What a dream to use! Plugged it in to my existing factory 7 pin, then plugged the trailer 7 pin into it - and off we go! Drive a little and then use the phone app to make minor adjustments to trailer braking with the empty trailer. After we loaded the vehicle on the trailer, we made minor adjustments again, and all is well. This was well worth the money, AND NO wiring installation charges OR under dash controller to hit my shins on every day!

Install Time: Instant

Sure would like to buy this as USA made and not China. Although quality is pretty good.
