Ford Explorer Running Boards, Side Steps and Nerf Bars

I took the steps to a place near by to be installed. They said it would take 2 hrs to install but it was closer to 3. They look great on my 2015 Explorer which I just purchased. The step makes it much easier to get into the vehicle.

The real instillation only took about 45 mins. By the way the instillation was easy as pie. The dealer wanted over $ 600 for stock boards, what a joke!! Take my advice do it yourself.

Had young grandsons install so it took longer. Should only have taken 30-60 minutes. Installed this on a 2017 Ford Explorer and the bars look sharp. Only real issue I have with the bars is that the step pad is up toward the front of the door and not the full length of the door, so most of the time, I am stepping in and out on the bar and not the step pad.

They fit perfect, like a glove, and the look is awesome!

These are the best Running Boards that you can buy for the Explorer 2011 and on, they give a great look to your suv and also are very esay to install. Everybody that has an Explorer over here is asking where I bought them so that they can have ones, too.

Great looking boards. Fits easy on 2012 explorer with no drilling. Makes it easy for kids to get in and out and to use roof rack.
