Great product

Great top. I have owned these in the past. This is my third one. I prefer the metal mx 4 to the aluminum as the fiberglass has delaminated with time on the F1 I had in the past. Fit and finish and ease of use is superb. And it looks slick!

Missing the track rail drop-down brackets as ordered. Install took 60 minutes and looks great

The tonneau cover arrived in great shape. It was easy to install. However, there was a missing screw from the kit.

Fitment was spot on. Installation was easy. The only hard thing was installing it in 105 plus degrees.

Love the cover, looks OEM flush, matte black. Couldn't be happier. Be careful when you remove the factory torx screws from factory bedrail thou, they can strip very easily. I was able to replace with stainless steel M6 1.0 20mm ones thou, which are better.

The BakFlip MX4 was easy to install! Adjustments for proper fit were simple and few. It is helpful to have a neighbor that is mechanically inclined and retired to assist in the installation! It would have been possible to have done the install by myself, but my recommendation is to have assistance. Two days after installing the MX4, I drove through a snow storm in Durango, CO. Cargo remained safe and dry! Looks Great on my '08 Tundra CrewMax Ltd! The most time consuming step in the install was removing and reinstalling the OEM Cargo Rails. The BakFlip came with all of the necessary adapters. Minor defect is that one of the rails had a bend in it that did not affect overall performance!

Quality control is poor in terms of overall quality and accuracy of shipment. Instructions are very generic. Had to make calls to clarify the instructions regarding the specifics for my truck. I would not recommend this product to someone who has never installed a cover.

While I did take extra time to install my BAK BakFlip MX4 Tonneau Cover on my Toyota Tundra, it was not due to the product. I'm very anal when it comes to working with my hands. Everything has to be exact or I redo it until it is. I reviewed many covers before selecting this one and my decision was made on quality. This is an excellent product.Instruction were clear and items included in the package for installation were of very good quality as well. I'd recommend this product to anyone who wants the best they can get for their truck.

After lots of research for a quality tonneau cover, I decided on the MX4. The main reason was because of the fact that you have full access to the bed (to be able to load dirt bikes without having to remove the cover). I also like that it has the matte black finish, so it looks really clean with all the other matte black accents on my white truck. I was also considering the F1, because technically it's better quality (only glossy), but I liked the fact that you can open and close the tailgate on the MX4 without having to lift the back section of the tonneau cover, which I was told by a BakFlip representative that it's the only one with this option (MX4). Installation was fairly easy by myself, but would definitely be easier with an extra set of hands for a couple things. My truck (2016 Tundra) has the track system installed, so the BakFlip comes with parts to lower those tracks before you can install the tonneau cover. You do not have to remove the front track (up against the cab). Didn't say anything about that in the instructions, so I removed it and then realized it didn't need to be. Other than that, pretty straight forward on the install.
