I had a great experience installing this cover. My only issue was sliding the tonneau support rails into the existing truck rails. Use a good machine oil. Go slow and use a rubber mallet.

Product is of good design over all but needs tweaking. Fitment at tailgate side of truck needs improvement. All four corners of cover have really cheap plastic covers held barely in place by one screw. My cover actually came with wrong one on right rear and was drilled twice in wrong place when trying to force the fit. Really poor quality control. Now jumping through multiple hoops with warranty for this issue. Could be a great cover with a little more effort.

I was satisfied with cover as it seems to be very well made. Only problem I had was I lost one screw for buckle hold. This is a specialty piece so I don't know how hard it is to find one to match. Also if you have a rambox make sure the guide rails fit before you try and install them. One side of mine slide right in, the other side I had to remove bracket from truck and pound it in with a sledge hammer. I couldn't get it out after I tried pushing it in so I had to drive it in with hammer. The trick about soapy water was a joke.

It's a quality item no doubt. Finished product looks quality and will protect your stuff. The fact that you can close your gate without crushing your Tonneau cover makes this first rate. Forget about soft tops a key can tare it vulnerable to theft and you could lose all your important stuff. This Bakflip MX4 looks awesome and functions as promised.

I had an MX4 on my 2015 Ram Limited with Ramboxes. It was a good cover but the 2 intermediate latches came apart after a couple of years. When I change my truck for a 2019 limited with ramboxes I decided to try a different product but was even more disappointed, it leaked even after spending close to $50.00 in neoprene strips to try to make it water resistant. Fortunately Kathy and Auto Accessories were great and I was able to switch back to the MX4. This new product looks and works a lot better than the old one I had. I was pleasantly surprised that they put a lot of thought behind their new design. I would had given them a 5 star but the new rails slide into the Ram rails that come with the rambox option. According to BAK they supposed to go in with soap and water but mine I had to put grease and hammer them in (no way they are coming out). As per BAK it appears to be a Ram issue as some of their rails are not the same The driver side went in a lot easier that the passenger side). After a couple of heavy rain the bed was dry but I had to install a piece of neoprene gasket at the exposed area next to the truck bed between the tailgate and the truck panel behind the ramboxes (the new rams have about a 3/4 gap there).
