    Latch too stiff but will probably get better with time. Bolts were too short. Needed to replace the 1" bolts with 1-1/2".

    The attachments for the cables from the truck bed to gate was a bolt and did not provide smooth pivot for the cable. Had to replace the bolt with longer bolt with sleeve that allowed smooth pivot. Longer installation time was from going to hardware store to buy bolt and sleeves.

    Well built unit; haven't noticed any difference in mileage, but then I bought it because I didn't want to spend nearly $1k for a factory replacement.
