Your Thermo-Tec Cool-It Aluminized Heat Barrier can go pretty much anywhere on your vehicle to protect anything from hoses, wires, painted surfaces, plastic components and more from radiant heat. Installation couldn’t be easier, just cut to fit and employ rivets and backup washers or weather stripping to put in the desired place – or use the adhesive backed material to wrap wires and hoses. With a strap or clamp you can also wrap this heat shield around your exhaust system.
The woven silica material features a flexible Aluminum finish. This reflective outer side can withstand up to 2000° of heat, while the adhesive-backed inner layer can handle temperatures ranging from 350 to 1200°. Made in the USA and backed by a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee.
