GMC C/K Floor Mats and Floor Liners

I bought my truck (1995 GMC K-1500 4 X 4 SLT) new in the spring of 1995. I am the only one that has ever driven it and it now has just over 200k miles on it. I had it repainted of few years ago and just recently redid the leather upholstery to the original state. The addition of your floor mats finished off the general restoration and everyone comments the truck looks like new. These are the best floor mats I have ever purchased but for the price they should be. The fit perfectly. However my truck floor slopes a bit towards the door so all the water runs to that area but at least its not ending up on the carpet. The main reason I purchased these is they don't get hard when it gets cold. The only thing I would change is the groves don't go far enough to the front, they should go to where it starts curving up, but that's not a deal breaker.

The smell of these floor mats are so bad that after more than a month I still cannot put them in my truck. I soaked them in everything from vinegar, to baking powder, and even took them to a professional detailer but still cannot get rid of the chemical smell. They have been sitting outside in the sun since I got them and I am just hoping that someday I will be able to use them. The appearance and quality are great, but I cannot put them in my single cab truck because the smell is just to much. I cannot recommend these to anyone. Stay away from these mats.
