I haven't driven my 2001 GMC Sierra 2500HD long bed on the highway with the TruXedo installed so I'm not rating performance or quality after use. It does look really cool (although the soft fabric gets very hot when exposed to the California summer sun at 90 - 105 deg). The cover is easy for one person to roll up to expose the truck bed and easy to roll back down--but can come off the rails if you rush. The velcro on the rails appears to seal well, and holds the cover taut. Installation: If you have an empty truck bed, clean bed rail surfaces, no tie-downs protruding from the bed rails, the socket wrench handy, utility knife to open the shipping container, and its contents set out, then you could probably install the cover in 20 to 30 minutes. After about 1 hr. 15 min. of prep time, it took me only about 45 minutes to install the cover. Someone younger and more mechanically inclined would use less time. Note: study the instructions carefully. There were 4 small stick-on pads for the rails, but the front two pads have a different shape from the rear pads, so watch for that. Overall, my first impression is that the TruXedo is a very good product. I'm excited to get on the road with it.

This is a replacement for the one I bought 9 years ago, and I found it to be a substantial improvement over the original which ONLY lasted 9 years in our harsh New England weather
